You’ll step into the role of a Manufacturing Analytics Associate, the person behind the numbers, helping companies spot problems before they happen and plan for what’s coming next. In this hands-on project, you’ll explore predictive analytics—a powerful tool used in industries across the world.

What's included

This Career Project allows you to take on a real forecasting challenge from modern manufacturing. Working with historical data to build a simple forecast, you’ll spot trends and make predictions, like whether product demand is rising or if a machine might need attention soon. These insights help companies plan, avoid breakdowns, and keep things running smoothly.

Plus, you’ll hear from an MxD expert who’ll guide you through the challenge and explain how data is shaping the future of smart factories, automation, and high-tech manufacturing.

Meet Your Mentor

Start things off by meeting your expert from MxD. They’ll introduce you to the role of a Manufacturing Analytics Associate, share how forecasting works in real factory settings, and explain how this data-powered role helps keep things efficient, safe, and smart.

Project Brief

Your mentor will walk you through the challenge: analyze a set of manufacturing data and make a forecast. You’ll decide how to approach the data, use simple tools to spot trends, and explain your predictions based on what you see. This is how real analysts help factories plan for what’s next.

Project Debrief

Done with your forecast? Nice work. Now you’ll get to see how your mentor tackled the same challenge. They’ll walk you through their thought process, break down their method, and share a model answer so you can compare, reflect, and improve your skills.

When will I hear back if I have been successful with my application?

Once you have applied for your program, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be notified about the outcome of your application via email at least 3 days before the program start date. Good luck!

Can I apply to multiple program?

Yes, you can sign up to multiple program with Springpod.

Who can take part in the program?

Most of our program require students to be in school/college. Some program require students to be based in specific regions of the UK, this is stipulated by the organisations themselves, and is not defined by Springpod.

However, the ages mentioned on our programs are more of a guideline than a strict limit. As such, we more than welcome older students to apply as well!

Will I receive a certificate on completion of the program?

You will receive a certificate on completion of your program. It will be made available to download whenever your program is marked as complete.
